ASER : la réplique musclée de Jean-Michel Sène à Thierno Alassane Sall
The Director General of the Senegalese Rural Electrification Agency (ASER), Jean-Michel Sène, reacted strongly to the new questions from MP Thierno Alassane Sall (TAS) addressed to Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, regarding the 37 billion FCFA case.
Jean-Michel Sène criticizes what he considers an avoidance of substantive debate. "Still not courageous enough to engage in a public debate on a subject that seems to obsess you?" he asks, believing that beyond precise answers regarding the 37 billion, this exchange would force TAS to demonstrate rigor and to seriously research the basic principles of the Public Procurement Code.
The Director General of ASER goes further, denouncing what he calls old practices aimed at deceiving public opinion. "You, like all those whose mouthpiece you are, have long believed you could fool the people, in addition to depriving them of their meager, hard-earned resources. That era is over," he insists.
Jean-Michel Sène also announced an upcoming press conference during which he promised to reveal, in detail, the modus operandi used in certain departments and ministries to embezzle public funds. At ASER, he asserted, these attempts had been identified and neutralized, which, according to him, explains the virulent reactions and the "almost childish" obsession of his detractors.
For the Director General, the debate now goes beyond mere political posturing or opportunistic communication strategies. "It's about principles, responsibility, and respect for the Senegalese people," he concludes.
