Cabinet d'instruction : Confrontation décisive entre Babacar Dioum alias Kocc Barma et El Hadj Assane Demba
The investigation into the "Kocc Barma" case reached a key milestone on Monday, August 25, 2025. The senior investigating judge organized a direct confrontation between El Hadji Babacar Dioum, alias "Kocc," and his alleged accomplice, El Hadji Assane Demba, nicknamed "Leuk Daour." According to Seneweb, the two accused were invited to clarify the nature of their ties, as the investigating magistrate sought to establish whether they collaborated in criminal activities.
Arrested after a years-long manhunt by the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC), El Hadji Babacar Dioum is under arrest, charged with serious charges: criminal conspiracy, blackmail, child pornography, extortion, falsification of administrative documents, money laundering and dissemination of content contrary to public decency.
El Hadji Assane Demba, presented as an active accomplice, was also imprisoned. Intercepted at Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) while attempting to leave Senegal after a brief stay in Dakar, he is being prosecuted for illegal photomontage, dissemination of personal and intimate data, pedophilia, and extortion.
