CFJ : sortie des promotions 2022-2024 et 2024-2026, plus de 80 greffiers mis sur le marché
Dakar, April 10 (APS)- The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Yassine Fall, presided on Friday over the graduation ceremony for the 2022-2024 and 2024-2026 classes of the Judicial Training Center (CFJ), urging the 87 recipients to demonstrate integrity, discretion and a sense of public service, while emphasizing the central role of court clerks in the functioning of justice.
"The clerk occupies a central place in the judicial ecosystem. He is the backbone of judicial procedures," she emphasized, adding that these legal professionals are "actors in decisive moments in the lives of citizens whose decisions can have direct and sometimes irreversible consequences."
According to the Minister of Justice, "A rule of law is not built solely on texts, but also thanks to competent, honest and dedicated men and women."
Yassine Fall also called on the recipients to demonstrate integrity, discretion and a sense of public service, believing that "citizens' trust in justice also rests on their behavior".
The Director General of the CFJ, Souleymane Teliko, reminded everyone that the clerk is not a secondary actor in the justice system, but rather an essential pillar.
"The clerk is both guardian of the procedure, guarantor of the authenticity of the acts and living memory of the jurisdictions," stressed the director general of the CFJ, Souleymane Teliko.
He also focused on the challenges of the profession, alluding to the complexity of procedures, the pressure of litigation, and the evolution of technologies.
"Your success will depend on your commitment to a sense of duty and a cult of excellence. Every action taken by a clerk contributes to strengthening or weakening the credibility of the judicial institution," the magistrate argued.
The 2022-2024 class, composed of 43 clerks, has as its patron Maître Hélène Diop, while the 2024-2026 class, with 44 graduates, is placed under the patronage of Maître Hyacinthe César Gomis, two personalities considered as references in the Senegalese judicial administration.
