Senegalese actress Adja Astou Cissé lost a lawsuit against her production company, Marodi Africa SAS. The commercial court ruled that the breach of contract was "abusive" and ordered the actress to pay 1 million CFA francs in damages and interest, as well as legal costs.
The dispute concerned the terms of the performing artist contract between Adja Astou Cissé and Marodi. The judge ruled that the actress had breached this agreement abusively, causing harm to the production company, according to our colleagues at "Kawtef".
This decision comes amid a period of change for the actress, who recently joined the production company Even Prod for the series "Timis - L'Or". This new collaboration marks a turning point in her career, following her separation from Marodi.
