Tribunal de Dakar : Liberté provisoire pour le journaliste Falil Gadio, son interlocuteur écroué
Senegal7 journalist Falil Gadio, who was brought before the Dakar court on Monday, was granted provisional release, announced his lawyer, Me Aboubacry Barro.
He will, however, have to appear before the court for flagrant offenses this Wednesday to answer charges of inciting violence and glorifying crime. He will be tried alongside the young Ousseynou Ndiaye, the person who spoke to him during a news report.
Unlike the journalist, Ousseynou Ndiaye was not granted release: he was remanded in custody by the prosecutor's office and will spend his first night in prison awaiting trial.
