Aïssata Diop Fall, who had been summoned this Tuesday by the gendarmerie's research section, went to answer their questions. The hearing went well, she stated upon leaving.
"I thank the investigators who were professional and extremely courteous. The hearing went well and was conducted respectfully. They asked me questions and I answered them. But you will understand that I cannot go into the details of the case because it is an ongoing matter," she told reporters.
The head of "Publicsn" stated that she presented her documents to the investigators, who asked her, at the end of the hearing, to remain at their disposal. "Now, we remain at the mercy of the justice system because the investigators have asked us to remain at their disposal. That's where we stand," she indicated.
Aïssatou Diop Fall was summoned by the gendarmerie following a complaint from the National Bank for Economic Development (BNDE). The bank is suing her over a loan involving tens of millions of CFA francs.
