«J’ai menti…» : les terribles aveux de l’ami de Mouhamed Ndiaye, tué dans des conditions troubles
Mouhamed Ndiaye did not die in a fatal attack in Richard-Toll, as initially reported in the media. This version was a diversionary tactic by his friend AD Mbodji, a witness to his death, to conceal the fact that they had an accident involving his motorcycle, which was being driven without proper registration. Mbodji confessed to this to the police.
Libération, which broke the story, points out that Mbodji initially tried to maintain his version of events, claiming he was the victim of an attack, before finally confessing when pressed by investigators. "I'm sorry, I lied, I made it all up," he insisted, "in tears," the newspaper reports.
Continuing his confession, he stated that he had "fake an attack to evade justice because [he] had no documents related to driving the motorcycle." Worse still, he admitted, the accused, when leaving Richard-Toll for Dagana on the day of the incident, had entrusted the controls of the vehicle to Mouhamed Ndiaye, "who didn't know how to drive very well."
He rewinds: "When he reached the bend where the accident occurred, Mouhamed Ndiaye lost control of the motorcycle, which went off the road. The force of the impact caused his instant death. I panicked and invented this whole story of a fatal attack."
According to Libération, AD Mbodji will be brought before the prosecutor in Saint-Louis this Thursday, for endangering the lives of others, handing over a motorcycle to a person without a license and involuntary manslaughter.

Il a déjà menti pour se protéger. Est-ce qu'il ne ment pas encore ? IL faut "creuser" pour savoir s'il ne l'a pas délibérément tué. On ne sait jamais.
