Largué par sa maitresse : Il divulgue ses images pour exiger des rapports sexuels
A morality case was heard this Friday before the Dakar flagrante delicto court. The case pits truck driver C. Dione, 32, married and father of one, against his ex-mistress, student D. Faye. The man is being prosecuted for digital identity theft, unlawful dissemination of personal data, and invasion of privacy.
According to the prosecution, after their breakup, he created a TikTok account in her name and posted her images to force her to have sex with him.
In court, Dione admitted to opening the account, but said he only shared "proper" photos. "She was my girlfriend. Every time I posted my wife's photo on my WhatsApp status, she asked me to post hers too," he said.
The civil party, who had initially alleged threats and blackmail, withdrew her claim, while still providing her version of events. She claims to have ended the relationship, deeming the defendant "too interested in sex." The latter, refusing to separate, then opened a TikTok account in his name, where he posted his images and threatened to send his videos to his mother if she did not give in to his advances.
The prosecutor described the charges as "serious" and requested a six-month prison sentence and a fine of 300,000 CFA francs. Defense attorney Michel Ndione pleaded for leniency.
At the end of the proceedings, the court found C. Dione guilty and sentenced him to two years in prison, three months of which were to be served, and a fine of 50,000 CFA francs.
