Maimouna Bousso : "Attention à ne pas transformer l'État de droit en une justice au service des riches"
Pastef (power) MP Maimouna Bousso reacted firmly to the release under judicial supervision of Mansour Faye, pointing the finger at a two-tier justice system.
"Ultimately, these electronic bracelets, purchased at a cost of several billion francs, seem to have been intended for financial criminals who have plundered our resources without scruples. Meanwhile, our brothers languish in prisons, crammed together for minor offenses," she denounced on her Facebook page.
The parliamentarian warned against any deviation from the rule of law. "Be careful not to transform the rule of law into a justice system serving the rich. No to Coumba am Ndeye ak… Coumba mou amoul Ndeye," she further castigated.
Maimouna Bousso insists on the principle of equality before the law, recalling that justice must concern all citizens, rich or poor, known or unknown. She pointed out a worrying trend: "We are witnessing a justice system that is harsh towards petty criminals, but lenient towards major criminals. It's as if it's better to steal billions than to steal an ox."
She also mentioned the case of Serigne Modou Mbacké Fall, known as Momo Taylor, who is being held for minor offences in worrying conditions, while figures involved in financial affairs are enjoying provisional release and prison terms deemed "comfortable".
"We initiated the political break. We wanted the judicial break. But for it to be real and effective, everyone must play their part fairly and loyally: politicians, magistrates, and all those who hold power or a mandate," concluded the Pastef MP.

Cette histoire de libération sous caution il faut la rayer du code pénal.
Il suffit d’une proposition de loi pour cela

Qu’on modifie le code pénal ou le code de procédure pénale nom d’un chien !
