Blanchiment et transmission du Sida : Pourquoi le juge a envoyé Pape Cheikh Diallo, Djiby Dramé et Cie en prison
The case was quickly brought before the prosecutor at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court, Saliou Dicko. The head of the prosecutor's office gave radio host Pape Cheikh Diallo, artist Djiby Dramé, and their co-defendants no quarter, significantly strengthening the case. In addition to the offenses for which the group was initially charged, the prosecutor included in his preliminary indictment the formidable charge of money laundering.
The prosecutor then requested the arrest warrant against all the accused named by name, namely Pape Salif Rall Thiam, Ibrahima Camara, Adama Diallo, Mansour Bassirou Baldé, Mamadou Gning, Sana Ba, Bachir Ka, Bekaye Faye, Djiby Dramé, Bekaye Ndiaye, Doudou Lamine Dieng and Cheikh Ahmadou Tidiane Diallo known as Pape Cheikh Diallo.
It should be recalled that this group was being prosecuted during the preliminary investigation for the offences of association of criminals, unnatural acts with voluntary transmission of HIV/AIDS through unprotected sexual intercourse and endangering the lives of others.
The investigating judge of the first chamber fully complied with the public prosecutor's request, placing all the accused in pretrial detention. The investigating magistrate thus opened a judicial inquiry which, for the time being, seals the fate of these individuals now behind bars.
