Extracted from prison and presented to the prosecutor of Pikine-Guédiawaye, he was again placed under a detention order, reports L'Observateur.
According to the same source, several families accuse him of having collected advance payments for apartments that were never delivered to them. The total losses in this new case are estimated to exceed one million CFA francs.
The former parliamentarian will be tried in a summary proceeding tomorrow, Wednesday, January 7. If convicted, he risks not only a new sentence, but also the revocation of his previous four-month suspended sentence, which would prolong his prison stay, according to the newspaper of the Future Media Group.
