In its edition of Tuesday, April 28, Libération reports that the municipality of Sébikotane was heavily condemned by the second civil chamber of the Dakar Court in the land dispute opposing it to the heirs of Nébour Soumbane.

According to details provided by the newspaper, the judge concluded that the municipality was occupying land title number 326/R "without right or title." Consequently, the court ordered the immediate eviction of the municipality, "including its personnel, its property, and all occupants claiming under it."

Furthermore, the same source specifies that the institution is forced to pay the beneficiaries the sum of 50 million CFA francs as damages for the harm suffered.

Mairie de Sébikotane doit également répondre des parcelles attribuées depuis 1996 et à chaque fois , leur réponse a été , la délibération est partie au conseil d' ETAT .
