Agressions en mode « Simol » : Après le lutteur Bébé Jackson, son entraîneur et trois membres de son convoi arrêtés par la SU de Guédiawaye
The case of the violent attacks in the "Simol" style is escalating. Following the arrest of wrestler Abdou Lo Sène, known as "Bébé Jackson," the urban security unit of the Guédiawaye central police station has taken into custody his coach and three other members of his entourage involved in the events that occurred last Sunday at the Dial Mbaye roundabout, according to Seneweb sources.
Attacks that sow terror
It is worth recalling that on the afternoon of Sunday, January 4, 2026, violent attacks in the "Simol" style were reported near the Dial Mbaye roundabout in Guédiawaye. This caused panic among local residents. The police have opened an investigation to identify and arrest the perpetrators of these attacks.
Wrestler Bébé Jackson was the first to be arrested yesterday by SU investigators. According to information gathered, he was in a vehicle with several people when the attacks took place.
The investigation progressed rapidly and established that the wrestler's coach was also involved. He has just been taken into custody for questioning.
Also on Tuesday, three other suspects who were in the vehicle transporting wrestler Bébé Jackson at the time of the incident were arrested. They are Y. Samb, 21 years old, a mechanic residing in Gounas; M. Yade, 20 years old, a mason residing in Guédiawaye; and P. Niang, 24 years old, a cart driver also residing in Guédiawaye.
Contradictory statements from the suspects
These three individuals were named by wrestler Bébé Jackson during his interview with investigators. After receiving verbal summonses, they appeared at the police station to be questioned about their alleged involvement in this case.
Overall, the three suspects all stated that they were indeed accompanying the wrestler in the vehicle on the day of the incident, but claimed that they only became aware of this violent incident afterwards, thus seeking to minimize their responsibility in these assaults.
In total, five suspects have been taken into custody in connection with this case that has shaken the Guédiawaye neighborhood. They are being prosecuted for illegal assembly that caused damage to persons and property.
This measure was taken following the favorable opinion of prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the prosecutor's office at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court, who is closely following the development of this sensitive case involving a personality from the world of Senegalese wrestling.
According to sources close to the investigation, further arrests are imminent. The Guédiawaye police unit is continuing its investigations to identify all those involved in these violent attacks carried out in a "Simol" style.
