Thiès : 8 mois requis contre Ahmet Golo poursuivi pour vol en mode « thièly »
Twenty-two-year-old Mr. Cissé, also known as Ahmet Golo, is being prosecuted for snatch theft. He is accused of stealing the cell phones of two women, A. Doucouré and C. Camara. According to the two victims, the accused was accompanied by other individuals. They surprised them and then snatched their two phones, an iPhone and a Redmi. Ahmet Golo was recognized by the women, who then filed a police report.
The suspect was arrested and then placed in pre-trial detention, while his accomplices remain at large.
In court, he tried to deny the accusations. He claimed that he was present at the scene, but that he had not participated in the robbery.
The public prosecutor deemed the defendant guilty of the charges and requested an 8-month prison sentence.
