Tribunal de Thiès : Six membres d'un réseau QNet jugés en flagrant délit

A QNet network was dismantled in the Keur Massamba Guèye neighborhood of Thiès by the gendarmerie. Three men and three women were arrested following a complaint filed by C. Fall, who was defrauded of 600,000 CFA francs by the network.

After making inquiries, investigators raided the QNet network office and apprehended the suspects S. Yade, I. Ndiaye, S. Dione, B. Sarr, A. Niang, and A. Diop. Charged with fraud, they were remanded in custody at the Thiès prison.

In the dock of the summary court, the six defendants stated that their company sells health products and that they are all marketing agents. They claimed to have joined this network through friends. They also explained that to join the network, one must purchase a product costing 600,000 CFA francs. To receive a commission, one must recruit two other people into the network.

The victim, C. Fall, stated that he gave 600,000 CFA francs to Ms. B. Sarr to purchase a product. When she saw no merchandise, she realized she had been scammed and filed a complaint with the police.

Considering the facts to be consistent, the public prosecutor requested the application of the law.
