This major distinction rewards his remarkable work entitled "Diokhor Island: oasis in distress on Lake Guiers", an investigative report praised for its sensitivity, analytical depth and journalistic rigor.

 

Through this powerful narrative, Moustapha Toumbou has provided information on the critical environmental issues surrounding the lake, while giving a voice to local communities facing a progressive degradation of their ecosystem.

The first in Television thanks to his investigative report entitled "Diokhor Island: oasis in distress on Lake Guiers", the second in the Human Rights category sponsored by Amnesty International with a Close-up on Autism (Invisible Children: the silent fight against autism in Senegal) before winning the Ejicom 2025 Grand Prize, the highest distinction of the competition.
