Visa For Music 2025 : Didier Awadi honoré au Maroc
From November 19 to 22, 2025, the Moroccan capital will host the 12th edition of "Visa For Music," now considered one of the leading events for the music industries in Africa and the Middle East. Alongside the opening ceremony of this edition, the organizers have decided to pay tribute to Didier Awadi, a Senegalese artist, pioneer of African rap, and emblematic figure of contemporary Pan-Africanism.
This tribute celebrates his entire body of work, both musical and activist. For over three decades, Awadi has used culture to foster civic awareness and dialogue among the peoples of Africa. His commitment to a united, sovereign, and culturally vibrant Africa has influenced several generations of artists across the continent.
The Guinean artist, Cheikhouba Bambino, was also honored.
