Mondial-2026 : Le CNRA exige les preuves de détention des droits de diffusion au Sénégal
The National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA) invites publishers, distributors and broadcasters wishing to broadcast the matches of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Senegal to submit supporting documents attesting to their broadcasting rights.
In a statement, the regulatory body reminds us that the retransmission, distribution and broadcasting of international sporting competitions are subject to the prior acquisition of the corresponding rights.
The CNRA emphasizes that, under Article 7 of Law No. 2006-04 of January 4, 2006, it ensures free and fair competition between audiovisual communication companies.
In this regard, the actors concerned have until Monday, June 1, 2026 at 12 p.m. to send to the CNRA the supporting documents relating to the rights to retransmit, distribute or broadcast the matches of the 2026 World Cup in Senegalese territory.
