Météo : De la pluie hors saison attendue sur une grande partie du pays, du mardi 2 au jeudi 4 décembre
The coming days are expected to be marked by unseasonal rain. According to the National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM), Saint-Louis, Podor, Louga, Linguère, Thiès, Dakar, Diourbel, Fatick, Kaolack and Kaffrine could receive rain starting this Tuesday, December 2nd.
"From the afternoon of Tuesday, December 2nd until the night of Thursday, December 4th, light to locally moderate rain is expected in the northern regions (Saint-Louis, Podor, Louga, Linguère) and the central regions (Thiès, Dakar, Diourbel, Fatick, Kaolack and Kaffrine). In addition, light rain could be noted in places in the rest of the country, particularly in Ziguinchor, Matam and Tambacounda," announced Anacim in its bulletin published this Monday, December 1st.
The predicted rains should be light, but Anacim insists on vigilance to prevent post-harvest wetting and possible impacts on livestock.
These rains will be accompanied by mild weather across much of the country, with a drop in temperatures, which should range between 24 and 30 degrees.
