Sénégal vs Botswana : Météo instable à Tanger, des pluies et risques de perturbations annoncées
The city of Tangier, which hosts the match between Senegal and Botswana this Tuesday, is experiencing particularly unstable weather conditions. According to statements from the Moroccan General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM), heavy rains, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, are currently affecting the north of the Kingdom and are expected to continue until Wednesday morning, December 24.
The expected rainfall totals are significant, ranging between 40 and 70 millimeters, particularly in the northern provinces, including Tangier-Assilah.
In terms of temperature, it remains relatively low for this time of year, with values between 11 and 14°C. The sky remains very overcast, accentuating a feeling of coolness and persistent dampness.
In addition, moderate to strong winds, with occasional sustained gusts, are making the atmosphere even more unstable. These conditions could lead to disruptions in traffic, including a possible suspension of maritime services in the Strait, depending on how sea conditions develop.
