Football : Décès de l’ancien international Moussa Diop “Quenum”
Senegalese football is in mourning. Former international midfielder Moussa Diop, known as “Quenum,” an iconic figure of Jaraaf Dakar, has passed away at the age of 64 after a long illness.
A talented player and outstanding technician, Quenum was known for his elegant ball control and surprising fighting spirit. Despite his small stature, he made his mark on Jaraaf's history in the 1980s and wore the national jersey on several occasions alongside legends such as the late Jules Bocandé, Amadou Diop "Boy Bandit" and Thierno Youm, leaving the mark of a true genius with the ball.
The body is scheduled to be removed this Monday at 3 p.m. at the Liberté 1 mosque, followed by burial at the Muslim cemetery in Yoff.
The editorial team offers its condolences to his family and to the entire sports community.

Salam.
