Lyon : décès du meilleur buteur de l’histoire du club, Fleury Di Nallo
Olympique Lyonnais mourns the loss of one of its greatest icons. Fleury Di Nallo has passed away at the age of 83. A true legend of the Rhône club, the former striker will forever remain Lyon's all-time leading scorer with 222 goals in 495 appearances between 1960 and 1974.
Nicknamed the "Little Prince of Gerland," Fleury Di Nallo left his mark on several generations of fans thanks to his talent and loyalty to the club. He notably won three Coupe de France titles with OL in 1964, 1967, and 1973, helping to write some of the most glorious chapters in Lyon's history.
The former Lyon star also held another symbolic record: that of OL's top scorer in derbies against AS Saint-Étienne, with 14 goals scored against their historic rival.
On its social media channels, Olympique Lyonnais paid a heartfelt tribute to its former player: "Our hero has fallen asleep. Farewell, Fleury."
