MORT TRAGIQUE DE L'ÉTUDIANT EL HADJ MOUHAMED NIANG : La commune de Ndiedieng pleure "un jeune plein d'avenir"

The death of student El Hadj Mouhamed Niang, who died after jumping from the second floor of Pavilion A at UCAD following the explosion of a charging electric motorcycle, has plunged Ndiedieng, his hometown, into mourning. Relatives, friends, and local authorities are grieving the tragic loss of this third-year undergraduate student in the Arabic Department of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

"It is with deep emotion and great sadness that we learned of the tragic death of student El Hadj Mouhamed Niang, originally from Taïba Nianghène, following an accident at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. The community of Ndiedieng mourns one of its sons, a young man full of promise, a committed student and a beacon of hope. We pray to God to welcome him into the highest of His paradises and to bring comfort and courage to all those affected by this cruel loss," said Dr. Abdoul Aziz Mbodj, Mayor of Ndiedieng, who offered his condolences to the bereaved family, the students of Ndiedieng, the people of Taïba Nianghène, the university community, and the COUD (University Social Services Center) management.
