Lutte : Yékini en deuil
The world of Senegalese wrestling is in mourning. Mbaye Cissé, a former wrestler and highly respected coach, has passed away. An emblematic figure of the Ndakaru stable, where he held the position of technical director, Mbaye Cissé left his mark on the history of the sport. He was a pillar in the careers of champions such as Amadou Katy Diop and especially Yakhya Diop, also known as Yékini, the former king of the arenas, whom he advised for many years.
Appreciated for the accuracy of his analyses and his always objective view on the fight, he had nevertheless distanced himself from the media in recent years due to his illness, reports Le Soleil.
Mbaye Cissé is buried in the Muslim cemetery of Yoff.

Rip !
