Abdoul Mbow traite Diomaye Faye d’« inspecteur fantôme »
During a press conference held by the Alliance for the Republic (APR), MP Abdou Mbow sharply criticized the professional career of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. According to him, a recurring question arises: where are the companies that Diomaye should have inspected as a tax and land inspector?
"While Macky Sall was accumulating degrees and positions, Diomaye remained very discreet. Too discreet," Mbow quipped. He pointed out that Ousmane Sonko, also a former inspector, carried out monitoring missions, unlike Diomaye Faye, of whom he claims there is no trace of reports or activities.
Mbow accuses the president of having focused primarily on unionism and land searches, neglecting his responsibilities as an inspector. "He was only involved in unionism and land searches," he said.
Finally, the MP expressed concern about the lack of archives or evidence of Diomaye Faye's work within the administration. "Should we laugh or be concerned? The vagueness surrounding the president's professional past raises questions," he concluded ironically.
