Al Aminou Lo : « Le Président tient à ce que la patrie soit toujours au-dessus de toute considération partisane »
Prime Minister Ahmadou Al Aminou Mohamed Lo addressed the Senegalese people yesterday, just before the announcement of the new government's composition. He began by stating, "I reiterate my gratitude to God Almighty and my appreciation to the President of the Republic for this expression of confidence." He added that, regarding the formation of this ministerial team, "the usual consultations were held with all those concerned, including the president of the Pastef party."
Thus, the newly appointed head of government conveyed the President of the Republic's position. "He wishes to reiterate that, in all circumstances, a statesman must ensure that the nation and the Republic always remain above any partisan considerations whatsoever."
According to the Prime Minister, the Head of State remains firmly committed, on the one hand, "to fidelity to the spirit of the Diomaye President project, and on the other hand, to the spirit and the letter of the Senegal 2050 vision".
“God truly loves those who trust in Him.”
Ahmadou Al Aminou Mohamed LO stressed the urgency of delivering, with pragmatism, lucidity, finesse, the promises of a sovereign, just and prosperous Senegal, anchored in strong values.
"The President of the Republic has set himself the imperative need for a statesman to mobilize all the vital forces of the nation in order to achieve the most critical and urgent public policy objectives. In accordance with constitutional provisions, the President of the Republic, on the proposal of the Prime Minister, has appointed the ministers and determined the composition of the government, a new government which has 30 members," he continued.
On this point, Prime Minister Al Aminou Lo indicated that Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye embraces this divine saying, namely, "consult them about matters, then once you have decided, entrust yourself to God. God truly loves those who trust in Him."
