Barthélémy Dias alerte : Le pays face à un « duel au sommet », urgence sur la dette et l'arachide
The Permanent Executive Secretariat (SEP) of Sénégal Bi Ñu Bokk (SBNB), the party led by Barthélémy Dias, meeting this Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in Dakar, issued a scathing indictment of the current government's management. The movement denounces a "power struggle" that is diverting attention from urgent national issues, including the high cost of living, youth unemployment, and the financial crisis.
The SEP reaffirms its support for peanut producers, demanding a price of 500 CFA francs/kg and the rejection of the winnowing fan (an archaic sorting method). The movement warns against a repeat of the problems encountered during the previous season.
The SBNB criticizes the persistent opacity surrounding SONACOS' accounts and the low level of tonnage received (only 150,000 tonnes, or 52 billion CFA francs).
The party is calling for the establishment of a public weekly dashboard on tonnages and payments and the introduction of a transparency mechanism on purchasing channels to prevent abuses.
Health: a budget cut "incompatible" with the needs
Sénégal Bi Ñu Bokk denounces the nearly 19% decrease in the Health budget in the 2026 draft finance law. This contraction is deemed "incompatible" with demographic evolution, epidemiological needs and the explosion of chronic diseases.
The SEP warns of the risk of degradation of essential services and denounces administrative transfers that mask a disguised budgetary disengagement.
Energy and debt: crisis of confidence and disguised taxation
The SEP reiterates its warning about energy policy: the 2026 budget law provides for a 30 to 40% reduction in subsidies. According to SBNB, "Fewer subsidies mean higher bills," confirming that promises of lower tariffs are contradicted by budgetary realities. Reducing subsidies without structural reform amounts to a "disguised tax" on households.
The movement denounces the persistent ambiguity surrounding the alleged "hidden debt," a year after the declarations. The SEP believes the consequences are real: suspension of the program with the IMF, a fall in sovereign bonds, and a scarcity of financing.
The sovereign ratings downgraded by S&P (CCC+) and Moody's (Caa1) confirm the country's "extreme vulnerability," as the state increases its borrowing on regional markets, exacerbating its exposure to the debt wall of the March 2026 Eurobond.

Échec et mat de toute la secte autour de Firaouna Sall. Échec de ceux qui ont été avec lui comme de ceux qui n'ont pas su se démarquer de lui. Les plus intelligents parmi eux commenceront à comprendre dans un an. Les autres, peut-être jamais. Avant le Tera Meeting, ils se sont clairement affichés. Lors du Tera Meeting ils ont été affichés. Après le Tera Meeting, le débat au Sénégal s'est installé dans Pastef, et il (le débat) compte y rester jusqu'en 2029. Ce sera la candidature de Sonko, ou celle de Diomaye, ou les candidatures de Sonko et Diomaye. D'ici là, ceux qui sont pro Sonko et ceux qui sont anti Sonko auront assez fait le travail pour que tous les autres disparaissent. Et cela n'empêchera pas aux médias de payer les impôts et être conformes à la loi, et aux criminels économiques et de sang de répondre devant la justice.
C'est l'art de l'Aïkido.
