Bignona : Des membres de Pastef fustigent l’inertie de la coordination départementale face à la crise au sommet de l'État
Young people and leaders belonging to the Bignona departmental coordination committee have officially spoken out about the crisis at the highest levels of government that is shaking the ruling coalition, particularly the Pastef party led by Ousmane Sonko. Speaking to the press, these young members of the Pastef Bignona committee strongly criticized and condemned the inaction of the departmental committee led by Minister Yankoba Diémé.
“We are going through a time of national uncertainty together. Our country is experiencing a period of political turmoil where confusion, calculation, and manipulation are intertwined. We, the activists and supporters of Pastef Bignona, affirm here, with strength and clarity, our effective support for our one and only leader, President Ousmane Sonko. Not out of blind loyalty, but because he embodies the integrity, vision, and political courage that are sorely lacking in those who nevertheless claim to lead this country,” declared Yayakh Diémé, Pastef's communications officer for the Bignona department and spokesperson for the day.
He adds that while the country is looking for a clear direction, it is clear that the departmental coordination of Pastef Bignona is sinking into a worrying inertia.
For these activists of the ruling party, this silence and ambiguity are no longer acceptable. Yayakh Diémé and his associates describe this silence as creeping complicity, allowing others to write history for them.
Demonstrating their loyalty to the president of the Pastef party, these young people and Pastef executives paid a clear tribute to the victims of the political demonstrations between 2021 and 2024. According to the Pastef communications officer for the Bignona department, the sacrifice of these martyrs should serve as a kind of motivation to resist any pressure or resignation.
