A few hours after his appointment as Minister of Land and Air Transport in the new government, Abdoul Ahad Ndiaye expressed his gratitude to the highest authorities of the country while reaffirming his commitment to serving the Nation.
In a message addressed to the Senegalese people, the new member of the government first thanked the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, as well as the Prime Minister, Al Amine Lô, for the trust placed in him.
"This appointment is first and foremost a call to duty," said Abdoul Ahad Ndiaye, believing that serving one's country means putting "one's skills, experience and energy exclusively at the service of the Nation and the general interest."
The former MP also emphasized the continuity of his commitment to serving the people after his time in the National Assembly. He promised to carry out his new duties "with humility, rigor, determination, and a willingness to listen," while reiterating that "respecting the commitments made to the Senegalese people" remains essential.
The new Minister of Land and Air Transport has also pledged to contribute to the implementation of the Senegal 2050 Agenda, the national development roadmap supported by the authorities.
"I will work tirelessly to contribute to the implementation of the Senegal 2050 Agenda and to the building of a sovereign, just and prosperous Senegal," he assured.
Abdoul Ahad Ndiaye finally affirmed that "patriotism is measured by our ability to serve the Republic with loyalty and devotion", before exclaiming: "Long live the Republic! Long live Senegal!".
