DE JEDDAH À BRUXELLES EN PASSANT PAR PARIS : Alioune Sarr fédère la diaspora sénégalaise pour bâtir la République des Territoires
President Alioune SARR, founder of the Alliance for Senegal Party / Andando Ngir Senegaal, chaired a high-level meeting this Friday, October 24, 2025 at 6 p.m. GMT with Party officials based in Europe and the Middle East.
This meeting marks a major symbolic step: the first official meeting of the diaspora since the issuance of the final receipt n°022526/MISP/DGAT/DLPL of October 6, 2025, which confirms the legal recognition of the Party by the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security of Senegal.
At the opening of the session, President Alioune SARR expressed his deep gratitude to the officials and activists established abroad: "It is with immense pride and a deep feeling of gratitude that I meet you this evening, in this fraternal and strategic meeting, the first since the official recognition of our Party."
He recalled that this recognition is not just an administrative act, but a historic turning point, devoting several years of collective work, rigor and faith in a strong idea: that of building a Senegal founded on the dignity, work and power of its territories.
President Alioune SARR praised the continued commitment of diaspora leaders and activists, stressing that their mobilization reflects the international vitality of the Alliance for Senegal / Andando Ngir Senegaal.
He stressed the need to strengthen coordination, discipline and communication between national cells to consolidate the Party's presence abroad.
THREE MAIN AXES AT THE HEART OF THE PARIS MEETING:
1. Official presentation of the Party's final receipt and its organizational and political implications. President SARR recalled that this document now gives the Party full capacity for action and representation, at the national and international level.
2. Reorganization and animation of diaspora cells. Representatives from France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, England, and Saudi Arabia discussed the structuring of national sections, the coherence of actions, and the Party's citizen diplomacy abroad.
3. Local proposals and initiatives. Delegates shared their experiences and
projects, reflecting the concrete commitment of the diaspora in building the Party
and Senegal Territories.
President Alioune SARR was keen to recall the fundamental role of the diaspora:
"The diaspora is a pillar of the Republic of the Territories. It embodies the living link between Senegal and the world. Through its work, its values, and its solidarity, it participates in the construction of an inclusive, sovereign nation, proud of its identity."
He praised the remarkable contributions of Senegalese abroad in economic, social and cultural diplomacy.
In his closing message, President SARR invited all activists to make this political victory part of a dynamic of unity and action: “Together, let us make the Alliance for Senegal / Andando Ngir Senegaal a national, democratic, open and modern political force, serving a Senegal founded on dignity, work and the power of its territories.
