Exclusion de Bougar Diouf : Yoro Dia dénonce « l'agenda de vengeance systémique » de Mimi Touré
The controversy is growing following Bougar Diouf's expulsion from the Diomaye President Coalition. Dr. Yoro Dia, former presidential spokesperson, has taken to social media to offer his unwavering support to Bougar Diouf, president of the UPS, who backs Macky Sall's potential candidacy for the UN.
Quoting De Gaulle, Yoro Dia asserts that "to be great is to embrace a great quarrel." According to him, by supporting Macky Sall's candidacy for the position of UN Secretary-General, Bougar Diouf is positioning himself to bring glory to Senegal.
Conversely, he criticizes Aminata "Mimi" Touré's attitude, accusing her of being caught up in a "petty squabble" driven by a "systemic agenda of revenge." For the former advisor to Macky Sall, this exclusion amounts to a "negation of Senegal" for the sake of personal interests.
This forceful statement comes as Bougar Diouf has already described his exclusion as "arbitrary and unfair", recalling that his party remains an autonomous entity within the coalition.
