Financement du PND 2026-2030 de la Côte d'Ivoire : Serigne Mboup invité aux assises d'Abidjan
The Ivorian government is accelerating its search for partners to implement its economic and social development strategy. Through an official letter from the Ministry of Planning and Development, Minister Souleymane Diarrassouba formally invited Mr. Serigne Mboup, President of the National Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (UNCCIA) of Senegal, to participate in the Consultative Group (CG) meetings.
This strategic event, organized with the support of the World Bank, will be held on July 8 and 9, 2026 at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan. The main objective of this Consultative Group is to present Côte d'Ivoire's National Development Plan (PND 2026-2030) to technical and financial partners, reflecting President Alassane Ouattara's vision of "Building a Great, Stable, Ambitious, and United Nation."
This ambitious program aims to achieve the country's economic and social transformation, elevating it to the rank of upper-middle-income nations by 2030. Estimated at 115 trillion CFA francs (US$209 billion), the financing of this plan relies crucially on the dynamism of the private sector, expected to contribute 70.2%, compared to 29.8% for the public sector. The participation of Senegalese consular and economic bodies in these meetings is therefore central to the dynamics of integration and private investment within the sub-region.
