The handover ceremony between the Minister of National Education, Mr. Moustapha Mamba Guirassy, and the Minister of Infrastructure, Mr. Déthié Fall, took place today, marking a significant turning point in the governance of the education sector and public facilities. Following this official ceremony, the transfer of the Directorate of School Construction from the Ministry of National Education to the Ministry of Infrastructure was formalized.
This decision aims to strengthen the efficiency, coordination and quality of the implementation of school infrastructure at the national level. The attachment of the Directorate of School Construction to the Ministry of Infrastructure is part of a desire by the authorities to centralize the management of public works, relying on the technical expertise and experience of this department headed by Déthié Fall in carrying out major structuring projects.
This handover of services between Moustapha Mamba Guirassy and Déthié Fall thus opens a new phase in the management of school constructions, in service of a more efficient and more inclusive education system.
