Marche de Noo Lank : Des partisans de Thierno Alassane Sall rappellent à Ousmane Sonko ses promesses
Thierno Alassane Sall's La République des Valeurs/Réewum Ngor party took part in the major march "against the high cost of electricity," organized yesterday by the Noo Lank collective.
The MP's comrades say they came to "remind Ousmane Sonko and his supporters of their promises when they were in the opposition", while at the same time "fulfilling their civic duty to peacefully demonstrate their discontent in the face of injustices".
They recall that in the recent past they marched with Pastef to denounce the high cost of electricity and fuel. Now in power, they continue this injustice without claiming to provide any solution.
TAS participants believe that Senegal cannot currently be a gas and oil producer and continue to sell its electricity at excessively high prices. According to Papa Cissé, RV's press relations coordinator, "the population is enduring this suffering, which is affecting businesses and factories even more."
For Abdourahmane Maïga, the director of structures for the Republic of Values party, "the Diomaye regime is incapable of providing a clear vision, let alone results. The new authorities are overwhelmed by the situations in Touba with the flooding, in Bakel and throughout the country."
