Mbaye Dione tacle Ibrahima Sy : « Votre accessibilité est colorée, même pour les intérêts du pays »
"A minister's accessibility cannot be selective," insisted MP and Mayor Mbaye Dione during his address to the National Assembly, directed at the Minister of Health. According to him, despite several attempts at contact, including phone calls and text messages, the minister "never responded," despite repeated promises to call back. "As mayor, I requested a meeting to discuss extremely important matters concerning my municipality. As Secretary General of the Association of Mayors, I also asked to meet with you. Even as a representative of the people, I contacted you... and each time, you refused," the elected official lamented.
Recalling that healthcare is a devolved responsibility, Mbaye Dione believes his various responsibilities give him the institutional right to meet with the minister. He emphasizes that his municipality has seven health posts built by the town hall and its partners, but which require state support in terms of equipment and personnel. "The state must be able to support us, even if it's just to inaugurate a post. I called you about this, and you didn't answer. The Republic has no factions or political affiliations: you are here for the people," he insisted.
The MP also stated that he had contacted the minister regarding Belgian partners specializing in the digitization of medical data, who had already met with Professor Seydi. "I called you in the interest of Senegal, through the Association of Mayors. We are extensions of the State; we must work in perfect harmony," lamented the MP-mayor.

Souvent c'est pour servir des intérêts personnels privés mais rarement aux populations de leur Cité. C'est vous les Maires qui êtes inaccessibles. Souvent même vous votre principale résidence à Dakar.

Il avait insisté ce que que seuls les militants de Pasteef soient recrutés dans son ministère. Il fait tout dans le clanisme. Il est rancunier et méchant.
