Messi, Xavi et Iniesta : La métaphore de Nitt Doff pour expliquer le duo Sonko-Diomaye

If Ousmane Sonko is the man he is today, it is partly thanks to his "lieutenants," including Bassirou Diomaye Faye. On Seneweb's Ultimatum program, rapper Nitt Doff, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Urban Culture Development Fund (FDCU), highlighted the role played by one of the key figures in the Pastef leader's inner circle.

Mor Talla Guèye states from the outset: "I consider the people who created Pastef, with their revolutionary fervor and their selflessness in serving others, to be all messiahs." According to the rapper, Ousmane Sonko embodies the "Project" through his life experiences, his background, his religion, and his principles, but we shouldn't forget those who helped him, his unsung heroes, including the one now in the spotlight as president, appointed by Sonko himself.

To illustrate this idea, Nitt Doff uses a football metaphor. He explains that Sonko was chosen by God and, although he doesn't call him perfect, he considers him the ideal candidate, having proposed a project open to popular support. He clarifies, however: "Without people like Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Birame Souleye Diop, and others, Ousmane Sonko wouldn't be who he is. To speak of Sonko's merit, we must also speak of that of these men. Today, everyone talks about (Lionel) Messi. Everyone knows him because of what he did at FC Barcelona. But without Xavi and Iniesta, he wouldn't have become who he is."

This statement emphasizes teamwork, highlighting that Messi, despite his immense talent, would not have achieved his feats without teammates almost as strong as himself. Similarly, while Ousmane Sonko played a decisive role in Diomaye Faye's election, the current head of state also contributed to the political strength acquired by Ousmane Sonko.
