It is a message full of gratitude and patriotism that Mouhamadou Bamba Cissé addressed to the President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye and to the former Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, on X, for the trust placed in him during his time at the head of the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security.
"I had the honor of serving as Minister of the Interior and Public Security with rigor, commitment, and dedication to the exclusive service of the Nation. Certainly, everything was not perfect, but together, we initiated a dynamic based on cardinal values: order, discipline, security, and citizenship. In such a short time, we have seen a real commitment from the population to these principles, which form the foundation of all development. I leave this department with honor and pride in light of the progress made and the reforms undertaken," he declared.
Mouhamadou Bamba Cissé says he is leaving the department "with honor and pride", in view of the reforms undertaken and the progress made during his term.
In his message, he also expressed his gratitude to the territorial administration, the defense and security forces, his colleagues, and the Senegalese people for their trust and support throughout his mission.
Reaffirming his commitment to patriotic values, he assures that he will continue to serve Senegal with the same determination and commitment to the service of the Republic.
"Long live Senegal, long live the Fatherland," he concluded.
