UN: Macky Sall leads in intentions, according to a poll (Financial Afrik)

ONU : Macky Sall en tête des intentions, selon un sondage (Financial Afrik)

A poll conducted by the British firm Holding Price Limited, specializing in electoral and geopolitical analysis, places former Senegalese President Macky Sall at the top of the list of candidates expected to become the next Secretary-General of the United Nations.

The survey, conducted among more than 800 decision-makers, diplomats and international relations experts around the world, gives Macky Sall 38.6% of the intentions, ahead of his main competitors: former Chilean President Michelle Bachelet (24.2%), IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi (21.7%) and UNCTAD Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan (15.5%), reports Financial Afrik.

As a reminder, Dakar did not officially support Macky Sall's candidacy, and the African Union was unable to endorse this candidacy due to a lack of quorum.
