Bitumage de la route Sibassor-Dya-Ndiébel : La députée Rocky Ndiaye porte le plaidoyer
MP Rocky Ndiaye made a plea to the Minister of Infrastructure, Dethié Fall, during the review of his department's 2026 budget. This plea concerned the paving and rehabilitation of the Sibassor-Dya-Ndiébel road section.
This section is currently a laterite track of nearly 19 kilometers serving at least three municipalities. Its rehabilitation is a long-standing demand of the local population, essential for the better development of the Ndiébel Louma, a weekly market that attracts traders from the sub-region every Monday.
The MP emphasized that paving this road would help boost development in the area, which, in addition to its weekly market, is a hub for agriculture and livestock farming. Furthermore, the lack of an exit for these communities on the toll highway makes paving this secondary section all the more crucial for opening them up.
