Pétitions : Une bataille politique au bout du clic
"Sonko out" or "Sonko stay." Two petitions launched respectively by opponents and supporters of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. For months, a section of the opposition has been demanding Sonko's resignation from the government. People have called for it on TV shows, at demonstrations, at meetings, and elsewhere, but their demands have not been honored by the person concerned.
Determined to push Sonko out, the Sonko Dégage Movement (MSD) has adopted another form of struggle: collecting signatures for a petition demanding the Prime Minister's resignation. This is a peaceful and democratic method of struggle. Simply sign the petition via the link "Demand the resignation of Ousmane Sonko," shared on social media. This petition, launched on October 8, 2025 by the MSD, has collected more than 12,000 signatures in 72 hours. A commitment that opponent Ardo Gningue praised on his Facebook page. "Without sponsors, without cheating, without sponsorship, or signature buying, more than 10,000 Senegalese have already signed online, in just 72 hours after the official launch of the petition, to demand the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko," Ardo rejoiced.
To achieve their goal of one million (1,000,000) signatures, these opponents plan to meet the people in villages, neighborhoods, communes, departments and regions, from North to South, from East to West and all the way to the Center of the country. These opponents also plan to go to homes, markets, garages and public spaces to collect physical signatures supporting the demand for Sonko's resignation. Because they believe that the Prime Minister's incompetence and inability to respond to the concerns of the Senegalese are plunging the country into economic, judicial, social and political crisis.
To counter this fight, the Prime Minister's supporters responded by launching a petition on October 9, 2025. Under the initiative of former MP Mame Diarra Fam, a link "Support Prime Minister Sonko" was shared on social media to allow patriots to sign against Sonko's resignation. In 72 hours, this petition collected more than 40,000 signatures, far outstripping those of the opposition. "This man who gave everything, elected MPs, mayors, and appointed a President of the Republic, is portrayed by an insignificant opposition as a bad person. Sonko must stay with us until he receives what he fought for. Sonko will not leave, he will stay. Join us to show that we believe in the future proposed by Ousmane Sonko by signing this petition," Mame Diarra Fam argued.
As if that weren't enough, Sonko's supporters launched a second petition demanding the dissolution of the Alliance for the Republic (APR) party. This petition garnered more than 16,000 signatures in just 24 hours. Launched by Hamdy Mustafa, this patriot believes that, during his term in office, the APR was associated with practices that plunged the country into a socio-economic crisis. Therefore, the signatories are calling on the relevant authorities to open a thorough investigation into the functioning of the APR and to dissolve it if serious shortcomings are confirmed.

Pendant que le gouvernement travaille à redresser ce pays après votre gouvernance de merde vous êtes là encore toute honte bue à essayer de divertir les sénégalais.
