As part of the reorganization of its bodies, the former ruling party, the Alliance for the Republic (APR), published an official note appointing several political figures to strategic positions at the national level.

This decision, signed by the party president, is part of a dynamic of revitalization and restructuring of the APR, aimed at strengthening its internal organization and its capacity for political action. The Fatick region plays a crucial role in this, with the appointment of several of its leaders to key positions.

Thus, Birame Faye, a former minister, was appointed director of structures, a strategic position responsible for the organization and animation of the party at the grassroots level.

For his part, Maïssa Mahé Cor Diouf, former director general of SAFRU, was appointed national secretary in charge of elections, a major responsibility in a context of political realignment.

Furthermore, Abdoulaye Diagne from the Ndiob district has been appointed national coordinator of COJER (Convergence of Republican Youth), confirming the party's desire to strengthen the supervision and mobilization of youth.

The new national team also includes several spokespeople, reflecting a more open and proactive communication strategy. Among them is Mame Marème Thiam Babou, a political leader in Fimela, whose appointment illustrates the increasing role of officials from local communities.
