After 52 years of marriage, Elisabeth Guèye was laid to rest on the very day of her passing. In this time of sorrow, Pape Samba Mboup received a personal phone call yesterday morning from former President Abdoulaye Wade, who offered his condolences. This support was followed in the afternoon by a visit from an official delegation of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS), composed of Alioune Diop, Kansoumbaly Ndiaye, and Mayoro Faye.
Touched by these expressions of affection and solidarity, Pape Samba Mboup, although having been excluded from the party in the past, expressed his wish to return to the PDS without hesitation, thus sealing a reunion marked by compassion and unity.
