Interviewed by our colleagues at Jàllale TV, wrestler Gouy Gui strongly denounced what he considers to be profound betrayals within the Pastef party, believing that Ousmane Sonko is the first victim.

According to him, Sonko is the man thanks to whom many political figures now hold prominent positions. A reality that some are now struggling to accept.

For Gouy Gui, these officials should demonstrate loyalty and recognize the central role played by Ousmane Sonko in their political rise. "Stabbing Sonko in the back is an unacceptable act of betrayal," he laments, while acknowledging that some activists and leaders continue to show their support for him.

He notes, however, a significant change in the communication of several party officials since they took office. "Before their election, their speeches were heavily focused on Ousmane Sonko. Today, they barely mention him," the wrestler laments, adding that some even refuse to admit that they were elected thanks to his struggle and generosity.

While acknowledging that power comes from God, Gouy Gui emphasizes that it is also exercised through men, recalling that, humanly speaking, many owe their election to Ousmane Sonko.

While calling for respect for the current Pastef leadership and the continuation of the mission entrusted to them by the people, he emphasized that this mission includes supporting Ousmane Sonko and seeking justice for the families of the martyrs. He also warned those whose behavior he deemed undesirable, reminding them that local elections are approaching.

Finally, Gouy Gui believes that there is practically no external opposition to the regime today, stating that the main opposition to Ousmane Sonko is found within Pastef itself.
