The Director General of the Agency for Assistance to Local Security (ASP), Seydina Oumar Touré, took a position on the national dialogue announced by the Head of State, highlighting the traditions of tolerance and consultation which, according to him, underpin the stability of Senegal.

In a statement with strong political and republican implications, he asserts that Senegal remains a strong, stable, and inspiring republic, unlike several countries in the sub-region facing political and security tensions. He attributes this uniqueness to a national consciousness built over centuries, transcending ethnic, religious, and political differences.

According to him, this legacy rests on the sacrifices of previous generations and on a culture of dialogue deeply rooted in Senegalese society. "Making dialogue a major axis of governance is not new, as it is part of the very DNA of the Senegalese Republic," he argues, recalling that this approach constitutes one of the cornerstones of living together in Senegal.

Seydina Oumar Touré believes that President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is continuing this tradition. He considers that the call for dialogue launched by the Head of State reflects a desire to govern through listening, consultation, and the pursuit of consensus.

The Director General of the ASP, however, warns against "hate speech, intolerance, subversion, resentment and violence," which he considers incompatible with the values that have allowed Senegal to go through the different stages of its history, including democratic transitions.

Advocating for a permanent, inclusive and sincere dialogue, he calls for forgiveness, overcoming differences and preserving the Senegalese spirit, which he considers the main bulwark against chaos and divisions.

Capitaine, on constate de plus en plus que vous ramez à contre courant des patriotes. Le dialogue et la justice sont indissociables surtout dans le contexte actuel... les dissocier s'apparente à de la mauvaise foi. J'ose toujours croire en votre bonne foi...

Les patriotes doivent reprendre la voiture qu'ils lui ont acheté. Il s'accroche à son salaire e DG mais ça ne va durer. On verra ce qu'il fera quand il perdra son poste.

Toure a été certes courageux en un moment donné, mais là tu cherches à sauvegarder tes privilèges.Un président qui n’a jamais réussi a gagner un seul bureau de vote dans sa commune ,les habitants de Ndiagagnao ont même refusé de lui confier leur mairie mais malgré Sonko lui a fait confiance.Pastef.a mobilisé ses moyens financiers,humains ,tout son électorat pour faire gagner Diomaye qui malgré tout a trahi.Celui qui refuse de dialoguer avec le parti qui l’a amené au pouvoir, s’il affirme vouloir dialoguer avec une opposition c’est qu’il cache ses vraies intentions.En fait,Diomaye veut ouvrir un boulevard aux transhumants de l’opposition donc il lui faut un prétexte et un contexte .Diomaye est une vraie déception !
