«Si vous avez des preuves...» : Le message de l'ex-députée Maïmouna Sène à Sonko
"Enough of diversions and judicial populism!" This message, addressed to Ousmane Sonko, comes from former MP Maimouna Sène, member of the National Executive Secretariat of the Alliance for the Republic (APR).
She emphasized to the Pastef leader that accountability is an institutional duty. "Not a tool for political communication to mask your inability to put the country on the path to emergence," she told him.
"If you have evidence, take it to court and let the judges work in peace," challenged Ms. Sène, who reminded everyone: "The Senegalese people did not entrust you with the State to look in the rearview mirror, conduct a witch hunt or settle scores, but to stop inflation, create jobs and revive the economy."
What she is asking of the prime minister is less talk and more action. "Charity begins at home: go and search your own house first!" she tells him.
