Thérèse Faye tacle Mabouba Diagne : « Vous êtes un exemple du succès des projets de Macky Sall »
The plenary session dedicated to examining the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture was marked this Wednesday by a particularly incisive intervention from MP Thérèse Faye Diouf. She directly challenged Minister Mabouba Diagne.
Thérèse Faye began by expressing her concerns about the lack of transparency surrounding the setting of the price per kilogram of peanuts. "I heard you on a television program mention 305 CFA francs. There has been no communication in the Council of Ministers, no inter-ministerial meeting, no statement from the decentralized services, governors, prefects, or sub-prefects. No document on which to base decisions at the level of the stakeholders," she denounced.
She asked the minister to officially clarify the situation, to avoid confusion in the industry.
The MP then criticized Mabouba Diagne for his statements regarding his role in poultry production. According to her, his claim that he is the second-largest poultry producer in the country creates a conflict of interest. "Even if it's true," she said, "you're making the government uncomfortable. Focus on promoting the government's achievements through your teams. You need to reduce this self-centered communication."
She also pointed out that the minister had claimed to have financed his projects with his own funds, a claim she disputed. "As director of FONGIP, I myself provided financial support for your 'For the Earth' project."
Despite these criticisms, Thérèse Faye concluded by acknowledging that the ministry led by Mabouba Diagne is today "an example of the success of the projects and progress implemented by Macky Sall."
Finally, the MP drew attention to the increasing salinization of land in the Fatick region. She called on the State to construct a salt dike and essential rural infrastructure, including vaccination parks and watering points for livestock farmers.

oui noiraud....................Elle a également rappelé que le ministre avait affirmé avoir financé ses projets sur fonds propres, ce qu’elle nuance. « En tant que directrice du FONGIP, j’ai moi-même accompagné financièrement votre projet ‘Pour la terre'".
Mabouba fait un excellent travail, en tout cas mieux que ces prédécesseurs. Ne pas le reconnaître, c'est de la mauvaise foi tout simplement. Il le dit, il y a beaucoup de choses à améliorer. Mais il est sur le bon chemin.

Mabouba est le plus nul des ministres de l'agriculture du Sénégal. Il parle trop mais ne fout rien sur le terrain.

Merci de rappeler à ce nullard de ministre qu'il est juste entrain de s'approprier des projets de Macky , comme d'ailleurs tout le gouvernement actuel . En tout cas , nous attendons toujours la mise en œuvre d'un projet conçu, étudié, financé et lancé par ce gouvernement d'analphabètes et incompétents
