“Thiès is entering a new era today, with a massive project already underway in the railway city: the Notto-Diobasse Smart City Strategic Industrial Park, included in the 2026 Finance Law.” This information was provided by former minister Alioune Sarr during a massive rally held in Thiès with Karim Seck’s Degaal Thiossane movement, which has decided to join his party, “Alliance for Senegal/Andando Ngir Senegaal.”
For the mayor of Notto-Diobasse, "this is a national turning point, a territorial revolution, a historic opportunity that places Thiès at the center of Senegal's industrialization." According to him, this transformation will have a direct impact on: "the city's economy; youth employment; infrastructure and mobility; the urban environment; and the future of the entire region."
This industrial zone, he said, will be equipped with modern factories, logistics platforms, and technology centers, creating thousands of jobs, new training programs, and markets for artisans and SMEs. According to Alioune Sarr, "Thiès will no longer be just a crossroads; it will become an engine, an industrial capital, a city of the future."
The former minister recalls that "the party 'Alliance for Senegal / Andando Ngir Senegaal' represents the path of responsibility, stability, method, and productivity. Our adversaries are not our fellow citizens; our adversaries are: the high cost of living, unemployment, precariousness, territorial injustice, and the university crisis," he says.
“Karim Seck’s arrival is not merely political; it marks a moment when Thiès is looking to the future, planning ahead, and transforming itself, because the city with two train stations doesn’t wait, it moves forward,” emphasized Alioune Sarr. For his part, the leader of the Degaal Thiossane movement pledged, along with all the members of the organization, to play their full part in developing Senegal.

Un monsieur intelligent qui a réussi beaucoup de choses dans les départements ministériels occupés, très compétent et discret. on ne peut pas faire le développement industriel et agricole du Sénégal en mettant les projet entre ciel et terre. l'intérêt national prime sur tout. toutes les collectivités territoriales doivent s'inspirer de Notto Diobass. l'émergence commence par la base par des projets fiables

Je sais que vous êtes un Monsieur intelligent et compétent Alioune SARR car je vous suis beaucoup mais DIOUBO DARA et tu promets sans rien accomplir . Si tu veux renouer avec ta zone de DIOBASS, commence par enlever et à mettre de coté ton manque de poigne et de sincérité à assumer les bêtises que tu as faites sur les dossiers fonciers dans cette zone . merci
