Mairie de Touba : Cheikh Abdou Bara Dolly annonce sa candidature et traite l'équipe municipale dirigée par Abdou Lahad Ka d'incompétente
The president of the Nékal fi Askan wi party has officially announced his candidacy for mayor of Touba in the upcoming municipal elections. According to Cheikh Abdou Bara Dolly Mbacké, it is the general caliph of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, who appoints the mayor of the Mouride capital. He intends to express his wishes to the religious authority.
During a general assembly of his activists and supporters from the Mbacké department, the political leader severely criticized the management of the Touba municipality, headed by Abdou Lahad Ka. According to him, the municipal team is demonstrating blatant incompetence.
As an example, the former MP pointed out that with a budget exceeding 40 billion CFA francs over several years, no concrete achievements have been made by the current municipal administration.
Speaking to the press on Sunday, December 21st in Mbacké, the president of Nékal fi Askan wi called on the State to address the grievances of the Mbacké department. He believes that investments must be made there in accordance with the actual needs of the residents.
Sheikh Abdou Bara Dolly also criticized the newly elected officials of the Mbacké department.
