Barthélemy Dias dénonce l’abandon du monde rural et critique la gestion du pays
The leader of the Sénégal Bi Nio Bokk movement strongly criticized the current administration of the country, denouncing the neglect of rural areas and the mismanagement of resources. During a press conference held today at the movement's headquarters, he emphasized that Senegal will not recover by turning its back on its rural communities, where people live in difficult conditions.
The former mayor of Dakar recalled the difficulties faced by farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen, who are confronted with problems of financing, lack of veterinary support and pastoral insecurity.
He also denounced the situation in Saint-Louis, where fishermen live in constant fear of the river mouth which threatens their families.
Barthélemy Dias also criticized the government's financial management, which struggles to produce reliable figures and is unable to protect the personal data of Senegalese citizens. He demanded non-negotiable transparency regarding the common assets of the Senegalese people, particularly oil and gas revenues.
In response to these problems, the leader of Sénégal Bi Niou Bokk proposed a structured, financed and controlled national immigration plan for the populations of the North, a stabilization fund for livestock feed, a national animal health program and a rigorous and transparent reform of public finances.
Barthélemy Dias called on Senegalese people to wake up and take control of their destiny, stating that Senegal is sick and lacks authority, leadership and vision.
