Décès de la femme de l'artiste Kalidou Kassé : Sa famille adresse un message à la nation
Sad news struck the world of culture on February 12th, following the passing in Dakar of Fatimata Ndiaye, wife of the legendary painter Kalidou Kassé, commonly known as the "Brush of the Sahel".
Numerous messages of condolence are pouring in from all over, from various personalities who share this pain with the artist and his family.
In this context, through a press release sent to Seneweb, the family of the deceased addressed a message to the Senegalese nation, which is as follows:
"Your messages, your calls, your prayers have been a silent strength in the intimacy of our grief. We fully appreciate the generosity you have shown; every word received, every prayer offered, every thought given has resonated deeply within us. You have surrounded our sorrow with a dignity and sensitivity that command respect."
We were unable to respond with the promptness and attention that such concern deserved. May our silences be understood not as forgetfulness, but as the result of a troubled heart. To those to whom we were unable to offer a personal reply, we reiterate here our complete and unreserved gratitude.
We entrust to you our mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend in your prayers and implore Allah's infinite mercy for her. Rabbi ighfir laha warfa darajataha fil mahdiyyin. Allahumma ighfirlaha warhamha wa aafiha wa afou anha. Ameen Allahuma Ameen! Kalidou Kassé and Family.
